How to Order Online
About Flags uses an online “shopping cart.” Your shopping cart holds all of your products until you are ready to actually purchase. Don’t worry, adding products to your shopping cart does not mean you have to buy them.
Once you see a product you would like to purchase and personalize, simply click “Add to Cart.” It’s that easy. Your shopping cart page will display, showing you everything you have ordered so far.
- Quantities & Editing Your Order
You may change the quantities of any item in your cart by clicking in the “Quantity” box and typing in a new number. Verify the new quantities by clicking the “Update Cart” button. Your order totals will recalculate and you may continue shopping. You can always change your product quantities at any time during your shopping process. Nothing is set in stone until you actually finalize your order. So, feel free to browse and take your time deciding on designs and styles for your personalized products. There are plenty of opportunities to change things later.
- Removing Items
To remove any item(s) from your cart, click the “Remove” button next to the item you want to remove. You may also click “Empty Cart” to remove all the items from your cart at once.
- Viewing Your Cart
Any time you want to see your current order so far, click “Shopping Cart” at the top of the screen.
- Checking Out — Finalizing Your Order
When you are finished shopping, click the “Shopping Cart” at the top of the screen and then click the green “Checkout” button to begin the checkout process.

If you choose to order from one of the following alternate methods, please do not order online also. This will insure that you do not receive a double order.

Call our toll-free number, 800-621-FLAG (3524), in the continental United States, Monday–Friday, 9:00AM–5:00PM EST. Outside the U.S., please call 215-513-2883.
- By Fax
You may fax your credit card orders to 215-513-2885, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please provide all requested information, especially your phone number. Faxed orders are processed within 24 hours. For confirmation on faxed orders, call our toll-free number.
- By Mail

Most orders are executed and shipped within 1–5 working days. Please allow 1–6 working days for regular ground delivery in the United States. Please let us know if a definite delivery in-hand is required.
About Flags appreciates your patronage and respects your privacy. Any information that you provide to us is used only to process your order(s), reply to your questions, and to improve your future experiences with our Web site. We will not share your personal information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, or credit card information, with anyone for any reason, unless required to by law.
About Flags uses technology called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt all information transmitted to us online during your checkout process. The information is encrypted before transmission and decoded after it reaches the About Flags secure server. This information cannot be decrypted during transit.

What Information We Collect and Why
We collect personal information primarily so that we may process your order. In addition to personal information collected for purposes of processing your order, we may ask for the following information:
- Billing and Shipping Information
During the checkout process, we ask for certain personal information — name, address, e-mail, telephone number and credit card information — all of which are necessary for us to process your order and ship it to you. Basic personal information such as name, address and telephone number, but not credit card numbers, may be transmitted to contracted third parties (UPS, FedEx, etc.) solely for the purpose of shipping your order. As described above, ordering with About Flags is safe and secure because we use Secure Socket Layer Technology which encrypts the information you send to us. This information cannot be decrypted during transmission and is decoded on About Flags’ secure server, which cannot be accessed by 3rd parties. About Flags may also use this information to send you brochures, catalogs, or other announcements via postal mail.
- E-mail Addresses
During the checkout process, we collect your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is used only so that you will receive your order confirmation email, and is not forwarded to any third parties. If you choose to create a user account with About Flags during your checkout process, you may also opt-in to our email communications (newsletters). At any time, you may modify your opt-in preferences by returning to the About Flags web site and modifying your user account.
About Flags uses a feature of your Internet web browser called a “cookie” to assign a unique identification to your computer. Cookies are files that your web browser places on your computer’s hard drive. About Flags creates and then uses these cookie files to track your cart contents.
In some instances, your browser may have been set to not accept cookies. If so, you will see a message when the About Flags web site tries to access or create any cookies. By default, most all browsers are setup to accept cookies when first installed. If yours is not, you can change your cookie settings usually in the “Security Options” or “Preferences” section of your browser.
- About Flags ships to the United States only. Exceptions will be considered. Please contact us to discuss your order.
- UPS will not ship to a Post Office box. Please provide street address in the “Street” box during checkout.
- OVERSIZED SHIPPING CHARGES MAY APPLY to some items. We will manually recalculate oversized shipping charges for multiple poles. The charge on the site assumes one pole; therefore, multiple poles may be less. Your account will be adjusted if we find unusual disparities in shipping costs. You will be notified if changes are necessary.
Return & Cancellation Policies
All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt. Products must be returned in new condition in their original packaging. Custom orders are not returnable.
You may cancel your order if it has not shipped yet by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 800-621-FLAG (3524). Please include your Order Number in your e-mail or have it handy when you call.
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for all orders online. We also accept Personal Checks or Money Orders which must be received and processed before your order is shipped.
